Zhila Faris Ali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Business from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Her professional work focuses on human resources, finance, and organizational operations, with an emphasis on building structured systems, clear processes, and sustainable institutional practices.
She previously worked at the headquarters of Volkswagen Group of America in Northern Virginia, where she supported human resources recruitment and operational functions within a large, multinational corporate environment. Her work involved cross-team coordination, process alignment, and support for complex organizational workflows.
Zhila has pursued professional development in management, leadership, and analytical thinking through programs offered by leading international institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, HEC Paris, and Duke University. These credentials complement her practical experience and support her structured, governance-oriented approach to organizational work.
Currently, Zhila serves as the Manager of Human Resources, Finance, and Communications at the Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE). In this role, she oversees core administrative and operational functions, including human resources management, financial coordination, internal policies, and organizational communications. She supports leadership through structured reporting, internal governance processes, and cross-unit coordination to ensure consistency and clarity across the organization.
