The Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE) hosts its first official Strategic Planning Retreat on September 30, 2025, at Saad Abdullah Hall in Erbil. The full-day retreat is led by Dr. Honar Issa, Dr. Dilan Rostam, and Mr. Abdulselam Almedeni, bringing together KAAE leadership and staff for an intensive working session focused on shaping the organization’s strategic direction for 2025 to 2028.
Throughout the retreat, participants engage in discussions on institutional priorities, operational challenges, growth opportunities, and long-term goals for both the K-12 and higher education accreditation sectors. The session includes structured workshops on strategic planning, risk assessment, KPI development, and organizational alignment to support KAAE’s mission of advancing educational quality across the Kurdistan Region.
This retreat marks an important milestone as KAAE continues to strengthen its internal capacity and establish a forward-looking framework that will guide its work over the next three years.
