KAAE Conducts Accreditation Criteria Workshop at Salahaddin University

On October 8, 2024, Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE) conducted a workshop at Salahaddin University, on the accreditation criteria established, marking an early step in the university’s engagement with the accreditation process. University personnel from various units attended to review requirements and begin evaluating institutional readiness.

The workshop agenda included an overview of KAAE’s accreditation framework and the expectations associated with the 21 Foundational Criteria. Participants examined the university’s current performance in areas such as mission, governance, academic programs, resources, student services, and transparency.

Through group discussions and guided analysis, attendees identified areas requiring further development, outlined preliminary action plans, and assigned responsibilities to relevant units and individuals. The session provided a structured opportunity to assess existing practices and determine the next steps needed to align with KAAE’s standards.

At the conclusion of the workshop, a working group was formed to continue reviewing the criteria, refine action plans, and guide the university’s progress toward meeting the requirements for accreditation.
