The Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE), in collaboration with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), successfully delivered its first series of capacity building webinars for higher education institutions across the Kurdistan Region. The sessions, held on May 28 and 29, 2025, introduced essential accreditation themes designed to strengthen institutional quality, planning, and governance.
The webinars covered key topics including institutional website transparency, policy development, mission and strategic planning, program development, student learning outcomes, and financial management. Each session was led by MSCHE experts and attended by university representatives seeking to deepen their understanding of accreditation standards and continuous quality improvement.
All webinar recordings are now available on KAAE’s YouTube channel for institutions that were unable to attend live or wish to revisit the material.
