The Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE), in collaboration with Akre University for Applied Science, conducted a Foundational Criteria Workshop and Seminar on November 30, 2025.
The session guided the institution through the initial stages of the accreditation process, with a focus on understanding KAAE’s Foundational Criteria and the documentation required to demonstrate early institutional readiness. Discussions covered governance structures, mission alignment, resource planning, and key evidence supporting baseline accreditation expectations.
The workshop and seminar provided university leadership and faculty with practical guidance to assess their current standing and identify priority areas for improvement in preparation for future accreditation milestones.
