Role Summary
The Developer will provide technical and operational support to the IT Manager in developing, maintaining, and implementing KAAE’s digital systems and tools. This role supports the design and development of internal applications, websites, forms, and data systems that improve institutional efficiency and user experience. The position also contributes to ongoing ERP implementation, survey automation, and other IT-related projects aligned with KAAE’s strategic objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the IT Manager in developing and maintaining web-based systems and applications.
- Support the design, setup, and automation of digital forms, surveys, and workflows for various departments.
- Contribute to the implementation and integration of the ERP system, ensuring smooth adoption across units.
- Maintain and update the KAAE website, ensuring functionality, accessibility, and alignment with brand standards.
- Provide technical support (Level 1 IT Support) for internal users, including troubleshooting and system optimization.
- Assist in database creation, data migration, and reporting tasks as needed.
- Develop and maintain mini projects requiring programming or IT customization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design digital solutions that improve data collection and operational efficiency.
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software, web, or application development.
- Demonstrated experience with front-end and/or back-end development, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or PHP.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and databases (e.g., WordPress).
- Familiarity with API integrations, ERP modules, or form automation tools (Microsoft Forms, Google Forms, WPForms, etc.) preferred.
Education – Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Education – Preferred:
- WordPress Certified Developer (WCD)
- Meta Front-End Developer Professional Certificate
- Laravel Junior Certification
- PHP Certified Engineer (Zend)
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and project management tools.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Specialized Skills – Required:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with database design and management (MariaDB or MySQL).
- Understanding of web hosting, domain management, and cloud systems.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and digital integrations.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
