Aram Mohammed Qadir
Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir is the current Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). Minister Qadir has over 15 years of experience as a civil servant and has also worked within various political parties and organizations. His roles have included serving as the Deputy General Director of the Human Rights Ministry and the Deputy Head of the Martyr’s Office for the Kurdistan Patriotic Union Party.
As Minister, Dr. Qadir has been pivotal in advancing the quality of higher education in the Kurdistan Region. He has actively engaged with international bodies to align Kurdistan’s educational standards with global practices. His efforts include spearheading the accreditation process for higher education institutions and fostering partnerships with international universities and organizations.
Minister Qadir holds a PhD in Literature and Arts, reflecting his strong academic foundation and expertise in the field of higher education.
